Make Your Next Cruise Unforgettable
So, you’ve already sailed with Palapa Tours. You loved it. You soaked in the views, the vibes, and maybe a drink or two. Now, you’re itching to come back—but this time, you want to make it extra special. Well, you’re in luck, because at Palapa Tours, our floating tiki boats are more than just boats—they’re a wet canvas for your creativity!
Whether it’s your second (or tenth) time on board, we can help you theme it up for an experience that’s uniquely you.
The Ultimate Customizable Adventure
Our tiki boats are like a blank slate for your imagination, and we’re here to make your vision come to life. Whether it’s a birthday, bachelorette party, or just an excuse to gather your favourite people, a themed Palapa Tour is the perfect way to elevate your time on the water.
Here are some of our favorite ways to bring your ideas to life:
- Sing-Along Extravaganza
Let’s face it: everything is more fun when you’re belting out your favourite tunes with friends. Picture this: we’ll set up clips from The Greatest Showman on our screen, and you and your crew can sing along to every epic chorus. Or how about a Wizard of Oz sing-along? Grab your ruby slippers and channel your inner Dorothy, because there’s no place like a Palapa!
Not into musicals? No problem. We can curate a playlist of your favourite karaoke hits—whether it’s ‘80s rock ballads, boy band throwbacks, or Disney classics. Just bring your energy and your vocal cords.
- A Swifty Night to Remember
Calling all Taylor Swift fans: this one’s for you. Gather your girl gang, throw on your favourite Taylor-inspired outfits, and get ready for a night of non-stop Swiftie hits. We’ll play the songs, you bring the vibes—bonus points if someone dresses up as a “cardigan.”
Add a few decorations, like fairy lights and heart-shaped balloons, and you’ve got yourself a Swifty-themed soirée that would make Taylor proud.

Tropical Paradise Party
You’re already on a tiki boat—why not lean into the tropical vibes? Grass skirts, leis, and Hawaiian shirts are just the beginning. Bring along a playlist full of island jams, sip on piña coladas, and turn your Palapa into a floating luau.
Want to take it up a notch? We can help you add fun extras like tiki torches, coconuts, and even a limbo contest. Aloha vibes, guaranteed.
- Hollywood on the Water
Lights, camera, action! Transform your cruise into a red-carpet event by theming it around your favorite movie or TV show. Whether you’re channeling Friends, Harry Potter, or the Marvel universe, we can help set the stage for your Hollywood-worthy night. Bring costumes, props, and a playlist that matches your theme for an Oscar-worthy performance.
- Glow Party After Dark
Looking for a night cruise with a twist? Go full neon with a glow party! Think glow sticks, LED balloons, and blacklight decorations to create a luminous vibe as you float through Ottawa’s waterways. With upbeat music and glowing drinks in hand, you’ll light up the night—literally.
- Your Wild Idea
Got a crazy idea for a theme? Let’s hear it! Whether it’s an underwater mermaid fantasy, a throwback to the ‘90s, or a superhero showdown, we’re all about making your dream a reality. If you can think it, we’ll help you bring it to life.
Why Theme It Up?
A themed Palapa Tour isn’t just a boat ride—it’s an experience. It’s a chance to create something truly memorable, where your personality shines and your friends or family have the time of their lives. Plus, the photos? They’ll be epic.
