What is the NCC River House?
Nestled along the Sir George-Ătienne Cartier Parkway, the NCC River House is a stunning, revitalized century-old heritage building that has been transformed into a hub for recreation, events, and environmental education.
đď¸ A Historic Gem: Built between 1914 and 1925, it was originally home to the Ottawa New Edinburgh Club (ONEC) and has since become a federal heritage landmark thanks to its connection to canoeing history in Canada.
