Great question! We love our furry friends, and we know many of our guests would love to bring their four-legged first mates along for the ride. However, there are a few things to consider before setting sail with Fido.
Public Tours: Proceed with Caution ⚠️
If you’ve purchased individual tickets for a public tour, bringing a dog can be tricky. Why?
- Allergies & Fears – Some passengers may have severe allergies or a fear of dogs, and we want everyone to feel comfortable on board.
- Space Considerations – While our Palapa boats are spacious, sharing the space with multiple groups means limited room for pets to move around.
What This Means for You:
If a fellow passenger has an allergy or fear, you may be asked to switch to another time slot. We want to accommodate everyone, but this is something to be prepared for.
👉 The best advice? Be objective about your pup’s behavior and how they handle new environments. If they’re super chill and great with people, we’d love to have them on board—as long as it works for all passengers!
Private Charters: No Problem! ✅
Booked a private charter? Then, yes, your dog is welcome! 🐕🎉 Since you’re reserving the entire boat for your group, there’s no concern about other passengers.
Just make sure your pup is comfortable on the water, and you’re good to go!
Safety First: Bring a PFD (Personal Flotation Device) 🦺
Regardless of whether you’re on a public or private tour, your dog must wear a PFD (Personal Flotation Device). While our boats are stable and safe, accidents can happen, and we want every passenger—human or furry—to be protected.
If you don’t already have a dog-friendly life jacket, we highly recommend picking one up before your cruise.
