It is a pleasure to introduce you to the a field trip experience on the water in the National Capital Region. Imagine, taking your kids on an educational tour up and down the Ottawa River on a Hawaiian style Palapa Boat Tour. Explore Ottawa in a whole new way whilst visiting some historic landmarks. From Parliament and the Supreme Court of Canada to the Ottawa Locks and The Rideau Falls. This is an adventure you and the kids will never forget. Palapa.Tours is one of the most experiential ways to get out on the water and learn some history! Just head to one of our embarkment sites, climb aboard and become Palapa Ohana!

If a Field Trip is not in the cards no worries! Keep us in mind for your Staff party instead and make some really cool memories. Or join us anytime during one of our Specialty Theme Nights or simply getaway with close friends and family. We got you covered all summer long. 🙂
2 PACKAGE OPTIONS: (includes drink and snack)
50 Minute Tours ($300/per boat) – Quick and sweet. Our excursion takes you to the main areas around Parliament and to The Rideau Falls. The captain will safely navigate the waterways while explaining the historic significance of all that is to bee seen. This is the optimal tour for younger guests.
90 Minute Tours ($400/per boat) – Same as above, just a little longer. We stretch out the tour to include the scenic Chaudière Falls where the Inter-provincial Zip Line is located and we sail back and all the way up to the Rockliff Marina, passing the Prime Ministers House and the scenic houses along Jacques- Cartier Road in Gatineau.

MULTIPLE GROUPS
Make a day of it – Are you looking for multiple groups to come join us? There are several things to do in the vicinity while waiting for the Palapas. Jacques- Cartier Park offers a beautiful spot for a picnic. Otherwise, there are several places of interest along the waterfront. From the Children’s Museum and the Museum of History to walking paths along the ottawa river there is lots to do and explore.
Custom Packages – We can optimize your day according to group size and needs. Simply put, we can reserve the Palapa’s for a set period of time and rotates groups-continually for 20-30 minutes at a time.
* Our Palapa’s are equipped with Life Jackets. However, it is highly recommended that students bring their own vests if they have them. All guests under the age of 12 must wear a personal flotation device.
